As we press forward, and our understanding of human impact on the environment becomes clearer,
new innovations and technologies will spring forth that will allow us to utilize
renewable resources for energy demands.
Catskill Craftsmen has already started this trend with the wood pellet mill, which allows all wood waste
to be made into wood pellets for use in pellet stoves, as an alternative heating source.
Wood is a renewable resource when properly harvestedand managed, and when scraps are processed into pellets,
a low ash, low emission heating source results. It's this type of innovation that will drive our future.
We will continue to utilize wood as our main manufacturing component, as it is truly nature's finest building material.
Working in conjunction with the Watershed Agricultural Council and their forestry program, Catskill Craftsmen will
continue to ensure future generations a beautiful and sustainable forest in the Catskill Mountain Region.
